Our brewery is slap-bang in the middle of the country’s finest malting barley-growing region – so, as you would expect, we use the riches on our doorstep.
We also use the resources from under our feet – chalk-filtered water from the brewery’s own well.
We source only the highest quality hops, selected for their aromas and flavours to create distinctive beers.
Moon Gazer Ale
All Moon Gazer ales carry names inspired by the brown hares, which we are fortunate enough to see daily in the countryside around us – and are available in six different styles: Jumper, Jigfoot, Nibbler, White Face, Bouchart and our Gluten Free Pintail.
In addition to this core range there is an every-changing offering of one-off special Moon Gazer ales and collab brews, some of which we show below.
Our golden ale – well-hopped character, citrus notes and a crisp finish.
Our classic amber ale – fruity overtones, balanced bitterness, smooth finish.
Our ruby ale – malty overtones, rich, spicy aroma and full bodied.
Our blonde IPA. USA and UK hops combine to deliver a fruity bitterness and crisp, dry finish.
Our dark mild – subtle blackcurrant aroma, full malty body with a sweet finish.
Our Pacific pale – light, golden and hoppy with aromatic citrus notes. GLUTEN FREE.
Specials and Seasonal Brews
Each Full Moon brings a new Moon Gazer ale.

An amber session IPA – fresh, fruity well balanced, easy drinking hoppy ale.
Never the same recipe twice – we spring clean the hop and malt store and see what we get – always lush.
Norfolk / French IPA
A golden IPA, using French and English malt and hops. Hoppy but with a fruit malt finish. Collaboration with Northmaen Brewery, Rouen, France.
This warming copper ale offers a well-balanced smooth complex fruit and floral flavour. A lovely warming winter ale.
A smooth, dark ale infused with orange and coriander. Brewed using 5 malts, including Maris Otter and also an oak-smoked wheat malt for a hint of smokiness.
