Team Moon Gazer is chuffed as punch to be celebrating winning three awards at a prestigious regional brewing competition.

We scooped 1 silver and 2 bronze awards!

We won the awards at the Digital Indie Beer Awards 2025 for bottles and cans which are organised by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) with judging across the UK.

The Silver medal was for our Stotart caramel stout, while the Skidaddler milk stout (Stout and Porter Category) and Hedera, Helles Lager (Premium Lager) also won bronzes in the respective categories.

The beers were entered in the regional competition for bottle and can beers and was judged against hundreds of beers from seven counties across the eastern region.

We are naturally delighted that we were judged to be among the top beers produced in the region and to continue our proud run of representing craft beer from Norfolk.

It’s also testament of how Moon Gazer dark beers are creating a great reputation whereas traditionally we have been known for our lighter golden ales and lagers.  Not only has this opened up a new market but has also introduced a whole new audience to our beers.

Stotart, is particularly pleasing as it was one of the first specialty beers we ever produced and so for it to win such a great accolade for a new beer is very pleasing.

To be awarded the silver among such a strong line up of top brewers was amazing. We take great pride in our craft beers and just love the fact that we are able to fly the flag for Norfolk – our home county of which we are so proud.

Its also great to see Hedera winning an award as that is a beer which we created alongside The Grove Hotel, in Cromer as their house lager – so to get this seal of approval is great

The Digital Indie Beer Awards 2025 are judged by a fleet of expert judges from across the UK, with beers marked against internationally recognized style guides for the different beer award categories – looking at appearance, aroma, flavour, aftertaste and saleability.
