Pete Catlin is one of 9 drivers who along with 2 mates each are taking part if the Hanseatic Rally in aid of Terrington Community Fund (TCF).

An interesting twist is that the cars can cost no more than £350! These trusty ole bangers need to then do 1,476 miles in 4 days to revisit the historic Hanseatic trading routes, the TCF Charity Road Rally started in King’s Lynn and passes through 20 other Hanse towns, in northern Europe.

The Rally headed off in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 1 May) – after Pete (who works at Marriott’s Warehouse in King’s Lynn) had to fix a water leak on his faithful VW Golf at last night’s launch.

The Norfolk Brewhouse will be there in spirit – as our logo is proudly emblazoned on the bonnet of Pete’s car – spreading the word of Norfolk ales to those good brewers of Belgium and Germany.

Good luck to all the competitors, which includes themed cars such as Mario Brothers, Blues Brothers and the boys from Back to the Future.
