Lot 29.  . The Easternmost Sky by Juliet Blaxland, signed copy by local author The Rumburgh Buck is mentioned in this book, The Easternmost
Sky, the page marked with a postcard. The postcard shows Sir Alfred Munnings’s model ‘Shrimp’, or Fountain Page, who is related to the
Page family who still live in and around All Saints and St Michael. The Easternmost Sky can be read on its own or as the sequel to The Easternmost House, both by Juliet Blaxland, who grew up at The Old Rectory, St Margaret South Elmham as a child of the 1970s and has been there or thereabouts ever since. Although mainly about coastal erosion, these books also contain much of interest about
the Saints villages, recognisable people and familiar rural goings-on. Both books have won awards for non-fiction, nature writing and memoir, placing this little corner of Suffolk gently on the global literary map.

David Holiday – Moon Gazer Beer Push 2023 – His challenge is to push a 75kg barrel of Moon Gazer beer for 186 miles through Norfolk and North Suffolk in 7 days starting on Sunday 1st October at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital at 8.30am and on Wednesday Dave will
start his push from Shoulder of Mutton, Strumpshaw and via Reedham and Bungay arrive at the Rumburgh Buck around 5.30pm. The beer push will finish at Deepdale Camping for a barn dance celebration www.moongazerale.co.uk

CONDITIONS OF SALE
At the fall of the hammer on each Lot the successful bidder’s name and address will be taken together with the price paid.
Successful bidders must pay for their promise(s) at the conclusion of the auction by card, cash or cheque made payable to David Maskery Ltd. They will then be given (where appropriate)
relevant contact information for each promise. The successful bidder is responsible (where appropriate) for approaching the donor to arrange
a mutually convenient time for the promise to be fulfilled.
The organisers of the auction accept no responsibility for the services carried out or goods delivered.
Late entries and changes to Lots can be accepted and will be notified on the evening.
