Taste Guide: 4.5% abv A light golden blonde ale with citrus and floral hop notes and a gentle malt finish. Well balanced, smooth and easy drinking.
Pintail is about to get a big brother in the form of Pacific Jack. In large part Pintail is so very popular because of the New Zealand hops which we use – Motueka – and of course a malt profile designed to best highlight the gentle citrus hop characteristics.
So we thought it would be fun to brew up a big brother – increasing the malt profile for added strength but also adding some maize and lager malt to bring forward that sweetness we like – and then beefing up the Motueka hops with some punchier Nectaron hops to add some tropical notes.
We will be crafting the beer for cask, can and key keg.
