We are delighted to have brewed up our 10 Candles birthday cask ale. It will also be available in Key Keg
Celebrating 10 years of Team Moon Gazer brewing this will be rather special 4.3% pale ale.
Light amber in colour, crafted with a combination of 9 malts and a brewing sugar ( which cleverly adds up to 10) including Norfolk Maris Otter, wheat, oats, lager malts – the malts reflect a blend of styles we love for a super smooth mouthfeel.
Hopped using Idaho 7, Amarillo, Admiral and Ernest – some of – in our opinion – the tastiest US and UK hops this promises to be a worthy beer to raise a glass to our birthday. Oh, and for good measure there is some blood orange tea for that extra hint f fruitiness on the nose.
Think fruit, citrus and orange notes, but still a nod to a great traditionally ale – traditional meets contemporary, that’s the Moon Gazer way.
Its a limited edition brew – as we need to squeeze in more specials for our birthday celebrations – so look out for more to follow.
