Moon Gazer are thrilled that we have taken on a new lease of a property within the village which will allow us to increase our capacity and pave the way for future development and changes.

The new storage site is just a very short drive from our existing brewery, and over time (subject to the necessary planning permissions) we hope to move the whole brewery into one larger site which will also include a small tap room and hop garden. Because of its close location we can manage this while still brewing at our existing site at Moon Gazer barn.

However, for now the additional storage capacity will free up space in the existing brewery and allow us to increase capacity at our original site so you can enjoy all of your regular beers and specials.

In fact, it will allow us to widen our portfolio of special brews and collaboration brews – so exciting times ahead.

The new store will include a cold store 5 times the size of the one we have at Moon Gazer barn.

The changes are made possible through the support of North Norfolk District Council by their North Norfolk Rural Business & Communities Grant which is part-funded by the UK Government through the Rural England Prosperity Fund. You can find out more about the fund here.

It really is important to us at Team Moon Gazer to stay true to our rural roots and our North Norfolk base which has ben so supportive of us since we started – rural grants like this really do help make that possible for small businesses like ours and help us to  improve productivity while at the same time strengthen the rural economy and rural communities.

The project is on schedule to be completed by the end of December.

Look out for further updates.
