£1,272 raised for beerpush at charity weekend

The beer push fundraising received a great boost of an amazing £1272  from a charity weekend organised by the fab team at The Binham Chequers.

The evening was themed around beer, brains and balti – with guests enjoying a thali selection involving three different curries with vegetable side dishes, followed by a trio of Indian desserts and all washed down by three thirds of Moon Gazer beers.
The beers obviously included Get Checking – this year’s charity ale for Its on the Balti – as well as specially flavoured chocolate orange milk stout to complement the desserts.

Once the taste buds were satisfied it was time to test the grey matter as a ball themed quiz saw the teams pit their wits against one another.

The pub also promoted the charity throughout the weekend with a raffle and also offers on Moon Gazer beers.

We’d like to offer a sincere thank you to Sarah and her team at the pub who created such a great event and Simon and his team in the kitchen for serving up some top nosh to make the event such a great success.

The funds will go towards David’s target of £9,800 which he hopes to raise during his beer push in April raising awareness for local cancer charity It’s On The Ball and testicular cancer.
