Well, sadly all the old charm of the barn’s brick and flint wall has now gone. When we first walked in and saw the plastic sheeting on the walls – with its blue protective coating still fixed to it – we thought we had purchased a swimming pool!
It really is in the final stages now. Despite its current appearance, the wall will be white and provide plenty of protection from all the splashing water etc. We also want to keep out beer pure and clean and so cleanliness has been a key feature and focus of the design.
Great news as well, Rachel attended the her first meeting of the Norwich City Of Ale 2012 group – and The Norfolk Brewhouse will be one of the participating brewers. We are well chuffed, as it will be a great showcase for our newly arrived beers if last year’s excellent event is anything to go buy. Watch this space for more info.
