We were thrilled that our Jackalope Ginger Lager scooped a bronze award in Liverpool this week at this year’s National final of the Society of Independent Brewer’s Awards (SIBA).
The bronze medal means that our Jackalope canned lager now has the full set as it had previously won a Gold and Silver at the regional finals in September.
The awards are held every year and are open to 900+ SIBA members, with brewers entering their very best beers in a range of categories for blind tasting.
Jackalope ginger lager was awarded its Bronze medal in the speciality light beers category for cans and bottles.
It sure makes the peeling of 35kg of fresh root ginger all the more worthwhile when you know your peers rate the beer so highly.
We were also delighted that our DewHopper Norfolk Lager won a silver in the regional keg section of the same competition.
We are also proud that all of our award winners use Norfolk Maris Otter malt – another Norfolk champion in our view.
