Following on from the success of StubbleStag Premium Norfolk lager we have created a new, lower strength lager, to add to the range.

DewHopper is a 3.8% ABV, light golden lager, offering a crisp, hoppy finish. The fresh, fruity aroma of the lager is achieved using three hops traditionally used in lager and continental beers: Hallertauer Hersbrucker, Saaz and Styrian Goldings.

The lager uses the finest Maris Otter barley – from Norfolk of course – and is fermented for 10 days before maturing for several weeks to allow the smoothness and flavours to fully develop. Some things just can’t be rushed!

As for the name, well, those of you that know The Norfolk Brewhouse, might have worked out the hare theme by now – DewHopper is no exception as it is yet another old country name for the majestic hare.

DewHopper will be available from all of our usual stockists (and hopefully some new ones) in 500ml bottles in the next couple of weeks.

As for the growing band of StubbleStag lovers, bottles are becoming scarce out there – so if you do see one at our stockists grab it while you can. Don’t worry though, as we have another batch maturing nicely in our tanks which will be ready in November.

You can also enjoy StubbleStag on draught at The King’s Head in Holt – well worth a visit.
