We scoop 3 awards!!
The team are well chuffed that our two newest and strongest bottle ales have scooped awards at this year’s Champion Bottled Beer of CAMRA awards.
Bouchart X – our 10% mild scooped a gold in the category for red, brown, old and mild ales, as well as finishing with a bronze in the overall category which judged the winners from all 11 beer categories.
Bob’s Tale – another strong beer – this time a barley wine – weighing in at 8.8% was awarded silver in the strong ale and barley wine category.
The competition is organised each year by the Norwich & District Campaign for Real Ale and 77 entries from 15 Norfolk breweries were judged. All parts of Norfolk are represented in the list of winners but we were particularly thrilled to fly the flag for North Norfolk.
