A big thanks to the Norwich & Norfolk Branch of CAMRA for inviting us along to the 35th Norwich Beer Festival, at St. Andrew’s and Blackfriars’ Halls from 29 October – 3 November.
The festival organisers have ordered two of our beers – StubbleStag, a 5% ABV cask-lager and our Moon Gazer Ruby ale.
StubbleStag is brewed as a lager and normally dispensed in keg and bottle. However, at this year’s City of Ale event, Chris Higgins, landlord at the Trafford Arms suggested we cask-condition some and serve it naturally carbonated out of the barrel. It turned out to be a very good suggestion indeed! So, do pop along and give it a try.
(PS – note to landlords out there – we will be racking the lager mid-October so feel free to place an order as we can always rack another barrel or two!)
Moon Gazer Ruby is our 4% ABV ruby ale which has proved a popular drink in local pubs – even during the summer months, so maybe golden ales aren’t going to have it all their own way!
Do pop the festival dates in your diary, and tell your friends.
