The brewery extension begins. In all we are adding about 50% additional floor space to the brewery area.
The original part of the Norfolk flint barn will house the 10 barrel brewing vessels and Uni tanks from DME – still no sign of these from Canada by the way! Mind you Nick and Pete, from AB UK, did turn up the other day in a nice new Mercedes. (Only joking guys, by now the DME project team had scoped out the project and have advised us of a likely delivery date of 7 November 2011)
The new extension is to be sympathetic to the original barn in its design and materials. By the way, another Norfolk firm, who we haven’t thanked yet are Martin Hall and Associates. Martin and his small team of architects are based locally, in Fakenham. Thanks to Martin’s support and design skills we have ended up with what we think is a pretty neat looking barn and brewery.
